PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arthroscope which has an elongated core with a square radial cross section, and an adjustable view angle in spite of being a single endoscope.SOLUTION: An arthroscope comprises: a sheath having an outer diameter and an inner diameter, the inner circumference having an extruded profile an elongated core having a square radial cross section, a proximal end and a distal end separate from the proximal end for insertion into a body and a pivot camera 75 fitted to the distal end of the elongated core and having an imaging surface arranged in a viewing direction of the arthroscope. The elongated core is inserted into the sheath, and comprises an actuator included in the elongated core and connected to the pivot camera 75.
