The present invention relates to a system for facilitating hair growth and a method of using the same. The system for facilitating hair growth includes a stimulating unit and a sensing unit. The sensing unit includes a colorimetric element. A target region is stimulated by the stimulating unit. The stopping point of the stimulating unit is determined according to the colorimetric values of the target region measured by the colorimetric element after the stimulating step. After the target region is treated with the system, the surface of the target region turns red, subcutaneously blood clot or bruised without bleeding. The growth of new hairs is enhanced in the target region for a period of time, and the hair widths of newly grown hairs are equivalent to the original ones.本發明係有關於一種促進毛髮生長系統及利用此系統之方法。此促進毛髮生長系統包含刺激單元及感測單元。此感測單元包含色度測量元件。此刺激單元作用於標的區域，且刺激單元根據色度測量元件在標的區域測得之色度測量值，決定刺激停止時點。藉由上述系統處理後的標的區域，其表面泛紅到瘀青或皮內瘀血但不滲血，經過一段時間後可促進毛髮增長，且新生毛髮的寬度與原本毛髮相當。
