The fleece has a surface wt. of approximately 100 to 250 g/m2, pref. approximately 130 to 200 g/m2, a thickness of approximately 1.0 to 2.5 mm, pref. approximately 1.5 to 2.0 mm at a load of 2 kN/m2, and an effective opening width of approximately 0.13 to 0.10 mm, pref. from approximately 0.12 to 0.11 mm. The mat has a fibre-form bearer material which is a polypropylene endless fibre fleece which supports plant seeds and/or plants in an early development stage, and where required a substrate. USE/ADVANTAGE - As a vegetation mat for growth promotion the mat has a lasting green effect and can be used for steeply inclined surface layers out-of-doors.
