When stored, a concentration of the chlorinedioxide in the composition of matter can be retained, with respectto an initial concentration of chlorine dioxide in said composition ofmatter, at, for example, greater than 12% for at least 14 days. Certainexemplary embodiments can provide a method comprising releasingchlorine dioxide from a solid composition comprising chlorine dioxidecomplexed with a cyclodextrin.
