PURPOSE: A vertical drain for treating soft ground, a device and a method for manufacturing the vertical drain are provided to improve tensile strength and compressive strength of the vertical drain. CONSTITUTION: A vertical drain(10) for treating soft ground comprises a coir sheet(11) and a jute sheet(12). The coir sheet is manufactured by mixing and compressing coconut fiber and natural latex. The jute sheet is formed to cover the coir sheet and permeate pore water in soft ground. Water flowing grooves(112) are formed in one surface of the coir sheet. Protrusions(113) are formed in a longitudinal direction of the coir sheet.본 발명에 따른 연직드레인은, 연약지반의 지표면으로부터 지중으로 수직으로 설치되어 연약지반의 지중에 포함된 간극수를 수직으로 배수시키기 위하여, 복수의 필라멘트형상의 코코넛섬유에 천연라텍스를 혼합시킨 상태에서 압축 성형되어 제작되는 코이어시트와, 코이어시트를 감싸는 황마시트를 포함하여 구성됨으로써, 배수성능을 확보한 상태에서, 두께를 최소화할 수 있고 강도를 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
