The present invention relates to a composition for preserving stable liquid-state cosmetics including PCA ethyl cocoyl alginate, wherein PCA ethyl cocoyl alginate is uniformly dissolved in a liquid prepared by adding at least one selected from the group consisting of a C5-12 polyhydric alcohol (polyol) and an organic acid to PCA ethyl cocoyl alginate, and the liquid-state continuously maintains a stable state and has excellent sterilizing power against bacteria and fungi. Accordingly, the composition for preserving cosmetics of the present invention is expected to replace a cosmetic preservative which is currently used.본 발명은 피씨에이 에틸 코코일 알지네이트(PCA ethyl cocoyl arginate)를 포함하는 안정한 액상 상태의 화장료 보존용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 피씨에이 에틸 코코일 알지네이트에 C5~12의 다가알코올(polyol) 및 유기산으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상을 넣어 제조한 액상에서 피씨에이 에틸 코코일 알지네이트가 균질하게 용해되며, 이러한 액상 상태가 지속적으로 안정된 상태를 유지하면서도 세균 및 진균에 대한 우수한 살균력을 가지고 있음을 확인함으로써, 본 발명의 화장료 보존용 조성물을 현재 사용되고 있는 화장료 보존제를 대체할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
