The present invention relates to an X-ray photographing apparatus, and more particularly, to an X-ray photographing apparatus including an X-ray source to irradiate X-ray, a collimator to adjust an irradiation scope of the X-ray irradiated by the X-ray source, and an X-ray sensor to detect the X-ray which is irradiated through the collimator and passes through an examinee&prime；s head part. The collimator includes a slit plate containing a slit for limiting the irradiation scope of the X-ray irradiated by the X-ray source, a slit unit containing an adjusting unit for adjusting a plane slope and a plane position of the slit plate, and a shielding unit containing a shielding plate for shielding one lateral section of the slit.
