PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the friction characteristics on the surface of a composite material and a medical tube in which inorganic particles are kneaded in a base matrix.
SOLUTION: The medical tube 1 is formed of the composite material 10. The composite material 10 is characterized by inclusion of the base matrix 10A made of at least one kind of polymeric material and at least one kind of inorganic particles 10B, whose average particle size is in the range from 0.1 to 30 &mum and whose degree of circularity is in the range from 0.90 to 1.0, kneaded in the base matrix 10A at the blending ratio of at least 15 pts.wt. and not more than 75 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the base matrix 10A.
