PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an observation inside an organ by eliminating colored body fluids while ensuring insertion properties of an endoscope.
SOLUTION: An adapter 1 for an endoscope includes: a distal sharp end forming means 6 which is mounted on a position covering the distal end surface 3a of an insertion part 3 of the endoscope to make the distal end part of the insertion part 3 tapered toward the front and a transparent film-like member 4 which is provided at least at one part of the means 6 and is inflated by an expanding means introduced via a channel 5 provided on the insertion part 3.
