CONSTITUTION: An aquarium sterilizing device(100) using copper comprises: an interior accommodating space； an entrance(112) which is connected to a discharging line in an oxygen supply device in one side； a case(110) which has a discharging hole(113) in another side； a sterilizing member(120) which is made of a copper material for sterilizing bacteria in water in the aquarium； a filter member(130) which comprises charcoal or charcoal granules for removing suspended material in the water in the aquarium； an upper part cover(140) which covers the upper part of the case； and a fixing member(150) which adheres and fixes the case inside of the aquarium by being combined to the lower side of the case.이 발명의 구리를 이용한 수족관 살균장치(100)는, 일정 크기의 내부 수용공간(111)을 갖되 일측에는 산소공급장치(200)의 배출라인(210)에 연결되는 인입구(112)를 갖고 타측에는 배출구(113)를 갖는 케이스(110)와, 케이스의 수용공간 내에 배치 고정되어 수족관에 공급된 용수 내의 세균을 살균하는 구리소재로 구성된 살균부재(120)와, 케이스의 수용공간 내에 배치 고정되어 수족관에 공급된 용수 내의 세균 및 부유물을 제거하는 숯이나 활성탄으로 구성된 필터부재(130)와, 케이스의 상부를 덮는 상부덮개(140), 및 케이스의 하면에 결합되어 케이스를 수족관의 내측면에 부착 고정하는 고정부재(150)로 구성된다. 이 발명은 수족관 내에 비치되는 산소공급장치의 배출라인에 연결해 수족관 내의 용수를 살균하되 구리의 살균력을 이용해 용수를 살균해 용존산소와 함께 수족관 내에 공급해 수족관 내의 각종 유해 세균들을 살균 처리하므로, 수족관의 용수를 장기간 교환하지 않고도 어류를 살아 있는 활어로 신선하게 보관할 수 있도록 하는 장점이 있다.
