The application describes a cosmetic composition for temporarily deforming hair, comprising—；in each case in relation to the total weight of the composition—；a) from about 20 to about 60% by weight water, b) from about 2 to about 20% by weight of at least one polyvalent alcohol, and c) from about 20 to about 65% by weight of at least one alkoxylated fatty alcohol.
