Provided is a method for manufacturing controlled-release pharmaceutical composition containing alfuzosin hydrochloride, which comprises: evenly mixing around 35-75 weight percent of the hydrophilic high polymer compound with around 10-30 weight percent of the hydrophobic high polymer compound to obtain a pre-mixture； adding around 1-5 weight percent of effective amount of alfuzosin hydrochloride, around 10-30 weight percent of the disintegration agent and around 2-12 weight percent of the binder into the pre-mixture mentioned above and evenly mixing them to obtain a mixture； and manufacturing the mixture into granules.
