PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method comprising processing of rice plant seed, by which rice plant disease due to Burkholderia plantarii and Burkholderia glumae without generation of delay in budding and dispersion in budding.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for preventing rice plant disease, in which rice plant seeds having a risk of suffering from disease caused by Burkholderia plantarii, Burkholderia glumae and the like are disinfected by immersion in a solution containing chemical pesticide, subjected to draining of the solution, and dried, and then the rice plant seeds is immersed in invasive solution which contains microorganism substantially having no pathogenicity to rice plant, such as microorganism belonging to Pseudomonas, and has a temperature of 20°C or more in a condition where a value in which the temperature of the invasive solution is multiplied by days for immersion of the rice plant seeds in the invasive solution is, for example, 55 to 110°C*days.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】出芽遅れおよび出芽バラツキを生じさせずに、イネ苗立枯細菌、イネもみ枯細菌などに起因するイネの病害を高い効果で防除することができるイネ種子の処理を含む方法を提供する。【解決手段】イネ苗立枯細菌、イネもみ枯細菌などの病害を被る怖れのあるイネ種子を、化学農薬を含有する液に浸けて消毒し、液切りし、次いで風乾してイネ種子を乾燥させ、その後、シュードモナス属(Pseudomonas)に属する微生物などのようなイネに対して病原性を実質的に有しない微生物を含有し且つ温度20℃以上である浸種液に、浸種液の温度とイネ種子を浸種液に浸けている日数との積が例えば55~110℃・日となる条件にて、浸けることを含む、イネの病害を防除する方法。【選択図】なし
