PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod body for a fishing rod allowing production of smooth rod actions with proper accent, and having easy visibility of a strike.SOLUTION: The rod body is applied from a tip rod to an upper butt section other than the butt rod, and is prepared by winding a fiber-reinforced resin sheet obtained by impregnating a reinforcing fiber group with a matrix resin around an elongated rod-like core metal. When the fiber-reinforced resin sheet 1 is wound around the core metal 2, one side LS1 of the fiber-reinforced resin sheet 1 is formed into a parallel straight-line state so as to be a state parallel to the axial direction of the core metal 2, and the other sides LS2 and LS3 opposing to the one side LS1 are formed into such a state that the other sides are separated from the one side and assume a curved shape as the other sides are directed from the tip rod end side toward the end of the rod butt side.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】滑らかでかつメリハリのある竿調子を演出できるとともに、当たりの目視し易い釣り竿用竿体を提供する。【解決手段】元竿以外の穂先竿から元上に適用されるもので、強化繊維群にマトリックス樹脂を含浸させた繊維強化樹脂シートを、細長棒状の芯金に巻回して作成される。繊維強化樹脂シート1の一辺LS1を、繊維強化樹脂シート1が芯金2に巻回される際に、芯金2の軸線方向に平行な状態となる平行直線状に形成するとともに、一辺LS1に対向する他辺LS2、3を竿先端側から竿元側端に向かうに連れてその一辺から離間し、かつ、曲線形状を呈するものに形成してある。【選択図】図6
