The present invention relates to a drive mechanism of a drug delivery device for dispensing of a dose of a medicament, the mechanism comprising:&mdasha housing (30, 120) extending in an axial direction (1, 2),&mdasha piston rod (90) to operably engage with a piston (16) of a cartridge (14) to displace the piston (16) in an axial distal direction (1),&mdasha drive sleeve (40) extending in axial direction (1, 2) and being rotatable in a dose incrementing direction (4) against the action of a spring (48) enclosing at least an axial portion of the drive sleeve (40),&mdasha dose limiting member (110) threadedly engaged with the drive sleeve (40), rotatably locked to the housing (30, 120) and at least partially extending radially between the drive sleeve (40) and the spring (48),&mdashat least one stop (44, 47, 113, 114) located on at least one of dose limiting member (110) and drive sleeve (40) for limiting an axial displacement of the dose limiting member (110) relative to the drive sleeve (40).
