Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dentaler prothetischer Formteile sowie ein gebrauchsfertiges, polymerisierbares Dentalmaterial zur Herstellung dentaler prothetischer Formteile, wie von Teil- oder Totalprothesen, Brückenteilen, Kronen, vorgeschlagen. Das gebrauchsfertige Dentalmaterial ist, optional nach dem Mischen des getrennt als zwei Pasten vorliegenden Dentalmaterials mit einem in den Pasten aufgeteilten Initiatorsystems und ansonsten im Wesentlichen identischen Dentalmaterials, ohne Anquellzeit sofort zu prothetischen Formteilen aushärtbar bzw. polymerisierbar.
