PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siphon type hydroponic apparatus in which plant root rot is effectively prevented, the properties of sound generated from the siphon part are changed and the concentration of nutrient solution is equalized.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a cultivation tank 11, an inflow means 12 and an outflow means 13. The cultivation tank 11 has in the upper part a supporting means 15 which supports the plant 2. The outflow means 13 has under the supporting means 15 the siphon part 133, formed in the reverse U shape, and the inlet 131 is arranged near the inside bottom 111 of the cultivation tank 11 and the outlet 132 is arranged on the outside of the cultivation tank 11 below the level of the siphon part 133. And the inner part of the cultivation tank 11 is cylindrical and extended to the nearly vertical direction.
