PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition which has soft and moist feeling, has excellent slipperiness, smoothness and spreadability during application, can obtain excellent transparency and gloss feeling of the skin after application, when pressed and formed into a solid cosmetic form, the cosmetic composition is excellent in powder removability and impact resistance and is less likely to generate horn light.SOLUTION: There is provided a cosmetic composition which comprises (A) a powder composed of one or two or more N-medium-chain-acyl basic amino acid powders represented by the following formula (I), (B) an inorganic powder and (C) an oil agent.
