This present invention discloses hydroxypropylstarch vacant capsules and a process for producing them,wherein said hydroxypropyl starch vacant capsules aremade of hydroxypropyl starch and water and optionallight-screening agent, colorant, aromatics, and flavoringagent through the processes of raw material mixup,gelatinization, stabilization, and capsule-forming. Thehydroxypropyl starch capsules disclosed in this inventionhave such advantages as extensive source of raw material,high safety level, disintegrating property and friabilityover the products prepared through existing technologies.
