PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article unlikely to cause back flow of an absorbed liquid and effectively preventing the leakage of the liquid from a lateral side.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 10 is disposed with an absorbing core 20 between a front surface sheet 11 and a back surface sheet 12, and a liquid permeable fiber aggregate 30 between the front surface sheet 11 and the absorbing core 20, and the absorbent article includes a front portion and a back portion which are positioned at and about a crotch portion facing an excretory of a wearer. The absorbing core 20 has a pair of recessed line portions 23 extending in longitudinal directions of the absorbent article 10, in a right and left side area.
