PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corticosteroid composition for oral administration useful in treatment of inflammation of gastrointestinal tract.SOLUTION: The invention provides a solid pharmaceutical composition to be administered to a patient to treat inflammation in an upper gastrointestinal tract including esophagus, glottis, epiglottis, tonsil and oropharynx, the composition comprising a corticosteroid including at least one of budesonide, salts, solvates and esters thereof as a medicament. The solid composition is formulated to form an orally dispersing/disintegrating tablet (ODT), which disintegrates in a cavity of the patient after orally administered thereby forming a suspension of the corticosteroid, which suspension is swallowed by the patient and is brought into contact with a diseased part in the upper gastrointestinal tract to achieve topical administration.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】消化管の炎症の治療に有用な経口投与型コルチコステロイド組成物の提供。【解決手段】患者の上部消化管であって食道、声門、喉頭蓋、扁桃腺および中咽頭を含むものの炎症を治療するために患者に服用される固体医薬組成物であって、ブデソニドならびにそれの塩、溶媒和物およびエステルのうちの少なくとも一つを含むコルチコステロイドを薬物として含有し、当該固体医薬組成物は、患者に経口投与されるとその患者の口腔内において崩壊して前記コルチコステロイドの懸濁液となり、その懸濁液が患者によって嚥下されると前記コルチコステロイドが前記上部消化管のうちの罹患部位に接触して局所的に投与されることが実現される口腔分散錠（ＯＤＴ）を成すように製剤化される固体医薬組成物。【選択図】なし
