PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for felling plants and recovering felled plants, detachably attached to a construction machine, felling and storing plants in high efficiency and releasing the felled plants after storing a prescribed quantity of the plants.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for felling plants and recovering felled plants includes a basket detachably attached to one side of a covering member containing a rotary felling part having a number of hammer knives, formed by expanding an opening of the covering member and holding the plants felled by the felling part, a pair of covers placed under the basket and rotating around a rotary axis, and a driving means to open and close the covers. The plants felled by the rotary felling part are stored in the basket and the stored plants can be released from the basket.
