PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fastening tape, by which the fastening tape is manufactured, the fastening tape being hardly torn off when it is put on or while it is worn while maintaining flexibility.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the fastening tape includes: a placing step of obtaining a laminated body 15 by placing a belt-like long-length hook material 13 on a part of one surface of a long-length base material sheet 11 along the longitudinal direction of thereof and a reinforcing/joining step of forming, after the laminated body 15 is obtained, a recessed part 71a for joining by pressurizing both longitudinal-direction ends of the long-length hook material 13 from the surface side of the long-length hook material 13 to the side of the long-length base material sheet 11, joining the long-length hook material 13 and the long-length base material sheet 11, and simultaneously forming a recessed part 72a for reinforcement by pressurizing an area other than the area where the long-length hook material 13 is placed and obtaining a joined body 16.
