Disclosed are bridged bicyclic heteroaryl substituted triazole compounds offormula (I), (see formula I) where A is -C(R1)(H)- or -N(R2)-； R1 is selectedfrom the group consisting ofN(R3)R4 and N(R3)C(O)-CH2-N(R3)R4； R2 is selected from the group consisting ofhydrogen, cycloalkyl and C(O)-CH2-N(R3)R4； and each R3 and R4 is independentlyselected from the group consisting of hydrogen and alkyl； as an isolatedstereoisomer ora mixture thereof, or as a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Thecompounds areuseful in inhibiting the activity of the receptor protein tyrosine kinase Axl.Also disclosedare pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds and methods of usingthecompounds in treating diseases or conditions associated with Axl activity.
