The invention relates to a vertebral fixation device (1) and system (50) for holding a vertebra of the spinal column on a rod (3), comprising a fixation body (6) on the rod (3), means (27) for blocking the body on the rod (3), a flexible band (26) for connecting part of said vertebra to the fixation body (6), the blocking means (27) also making it possible to block the flexible band (26) on the fixation body (6) via the rod (3). The fixation body (6) moreover comprises a rigid anchoring hook (7), which is integrally connected to the fixation body (6) and is able to fix on the vertebral part in immediate proximity to the flexible band (26) in position on said vertebral part.
