PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a freezing period and thawing period depending of the size of a therapy region, related to a therapy device used for cryotherapy and a cryotherapy planning device therefor.SOLUTION: A cryotherapy device includes a gas supply/exhaust system (100), a control system (200) therefor, and a freezing probe system (300). The gas supply/exhaust system (100) supplies a freezing gas and a thawing gas to a probe (60) of the freezing probe system (300) to freeze and thaw the therapy region near the end of the probe (60) by the Joule-Thomson effect. The control system (200) controls the gas supply/exhaust system (100) and creates therapy plan data for the control. The therapy plan data include a freezing and thawing sequence to determine the freezing period and thawing period. The computer in the control system (200) determines the sequence. The sequence is determined depending on the therapy size of the lesion according to the freezing and thawing characteristics of the tissue.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、凍結治療法で使用される治療装置、及びその治療計画装置に関し、治療部位サイズに従っての凍結期間・解凍期間を設定することを目的にする。【解決手段】凍結治療装置は、ガス給排気系100、その制御系200、凍結プローブ系300、より成る。ガス給排気系100は、凍結プローブ系300のプローブ60への凍結ガス、解凍ガスを送り、ジュール・トムソン効果によりプローブ60の先端周囲の治療部位の凍結・解凍を行わせる。制御系200は、ガス給排気系100の制御を行うと共に、この制御のための治療計画データを作成する。治療計画データの中に凍結期間と解凍期間とを定める凍結・解凍シーケンスがを持つ。このシーケンスの決定を制御系200内の計算機で行う。更に、このシーケンスは、組織の凍結・解凍特性に基づいて病巣治療サイズに応じて決定する。【選択図】図1
