PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that creation of herbicidal composition having a broader weeding spectrum, high activity and a long sustained effect is desired because there are a plurality of species of weeds to be the object of control and their emergence extends over a long period of time, though a large number of herbicidal composition are developed and used at present.SOLUTION: This herbicidal composition includes (A) flazasulfuron or its salt, (B) at least one kind of a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor selected from the group consisting of a phenylpyrazole-based compound, triazolinone-based compound, N-phenylphthalimide-based compound, pyrimidindione-based compound, oxadiazole-based compound, oxazolidinone-based compound, thiadiazole-based compound, pyraclonil, profluazole, flufenpyr-ethyl and salts thereof.
