The present invention is related to a composition which comprises Tellimagrandin II and a β-lactam antibiotic or a polyketide antibiotic. The present invention also provides a use of Tellimagrandin II for the manufacture of a medicament for use in treatment of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infection. Besides, Tellimagrandin II provides as a medicament for biofilm prevention of Staphylococcus aureus. The present invention further provides a use of Tellimagrandin II for the manufacture of a medicament for use in treatment of sepsis.
