The orthopedic implant defines at least a first cannulation configured to deliver the bone-enhancing material to the bone through the orthopedic implant. The orthopedic implant is implanted into the bone in its implanted shape. After implantation of the orthopedic implant, the first insert facilitates delivery of the bone-enhancing material that enhances the bone into the bone.
