PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed or bulb planting machine capable of planting not only seeds but also bulbs. SOLUTION: When a front wheel 17 rotates during forward movement of a planting machine 10, a boring protrusion 16 opens a boring hole 15 having a predetermined depth in the soil. When the planting machine 10 further advances and the planting hole 15 reaches between the front wheel 17 and the rear wheel 18, the bulb 13 is thrown into the planting hole 15 from the dosing tube 19. After that, the planting machine 10 further advances, so that the rear wheel 18 crushes the upper part of the planting hole 15 and the thrown-in bulb 13 is covered with the rear wheel 19. As a result, it is possible to open the planting hole 15 that was difficult to form with the conventional machine, and it is possible to plant not only the seed but also the bulb 13.
