The present invention relates to an injection device. The injection device comprises a body for holding a syringe having a needle extending from one end thereof and a cap that is removably attached to the body. The cap has a needle shield to cover said needle. The injection device further comprises a biasing member and a lock. The biasing member is configured to urge at least a part of the cap away from the body.
