PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely useful inorganic-organic antibacterial composite having heat-resistance and weather-resistance, developing extermination effect against a variety of microorganisms such as bacteria, mildew, algae and protozoa, having sustained release property to sustainably exhibit the antibacterial power and contributing to expansion of its use, and to provide a method for producing the composite.SOLUTION: There are provided an antibacterial and antifungal aluminum silicate containing a compound expressed by general formula (1) in aluminum silicate, and a method for producing the antibacterial and antifungal aluminum silicate.
