The present invention relates to novel emodin derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a preparation method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer diseases containing the same as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the novel emodin derivatives are prepared by introducing an amino acid ester to emodin derivatives derived from aloe, thereby improving solubility to water remarkably and having excellent bio-availability and cancer cell proliferation inhibitory activity. Accordingly, the present invention containing the same as an active ingredient can be used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer diseases.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015본 발명은 신규한 이모딘 유도체 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용 가능한 염, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 신규한 이모딘 유도체는 알로에로부터 유래된 이모딘 유도체에 아미노산 에스테르를 도입하여 제조됨으로써 물에 대한 용해도가 현저히 개선되었으며, 이로 인한 생체이용률이 우수하고, 암 세포 증식 억제 활성이 상당히 뛰어나므로 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 조성물은 암 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
