PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resection catheter for perfusion in which cooling performance for a chip is improved.SOLUTION: The catheter has a catheter body with an exterior wall, a base end and the chip and has at least one lumen passing through the inside thereof. The tip of the front end of the catheter body has a perfusion tip electrode and a flexible tube segment in which at least one lumen is extensively located inside. The tip electrode has a tiered shape, allowing perfusion and flow in a layer-flowing state of a cooled fluid (or minimization of at least turbulence or eddy). As a result, the tip electrode particularly spindly part thereof can be evenly cooled. The tip electrode may have a longitudinal axis, an external surface of a ring in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and an external cylindrical surface which extends along the longitudinal axis outward from the external surface of a ring. The external surface of the ring comprises an opening, and thereby a fluid (e.g. saline)flows to the external surface of the ring through the inside of the tip electrode and can flow in a condition of laminar flow on the external cylindrical surface.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】先端の冷却を改善した潅流切除カテーテルを提供する。【解決手段】外壁部、基端、先端を有するカテーテル本体と、その内部を貫通する少なくとも一つの内腔とを有するカテーテルである。カテーテル本体の先端側の先端部分は、潅流先端電極と、少なくとも一つの内腔を内部に延在させた可撓性チューブのセグメントとを有する。先端電極は段状の形状を有し、これにより潅流および冷却流体の層流状態での流れ(または、少なくとも乱流や渦を最小限に抑えること)が可能となり、結果として先端電極、特に先端電極の細長い部分の均一な冷却が可能となる。先端電極は長さ方向軸と、その長さ方向軸とほぼ直行した外側のリング表面と、外側のリング表面から外側に長さ方向軸に沿って延びる外側の円柱状表面とを備えていてもよい。外側のリング表面には開口部が設けられ、これにより流体(たとえば生理食塩水)が先端電極の内部を通って外側のリング表面へと流れ、外側の円柱状表面上を層流状態で流れることが可能となる。【選択図】図3A
