PURPOSE: An electric-powered walking supporter is provided to effectively supporting walk of a user and to enable a user to smoothly operate the movement thereof. CONSTITUTION: An electric-powered walking supporter comprises: a mounting frame(110) which forms a basic frame and in which two pairs of wheels for movement and change of direction are prepared； a handle control unit(120) which is prepared in the top end portion of the mounting frame and controls the operation of two pairs of wheels； and a driving part(150) which is selectively driven by the handle control unit and generates driving force for rotating a pair of drive wheels.본 발명의 전동식 보행 보조기는, 기본 틀을 형성하는 장착 프레임의 하단부에 회전 가능하게 결합되는 한 쌍의 구동 휠(wheel)； 장착 프레임에 장착되며, 한 쌍의 구동 휠 중 하나의 구동 휠을 구동시키기 위한 구동력을 발생시키는 제1 구동모터와, 한 쌍의 구동 휠 중 다른 하나의 구동 휠을 구동시키기 위한 구동력을 발생시키는 제2 구동모터를 구비하는 구동부； 및 장착 프레임에 마련되며, 제1 구동모터 및 제2 구동모터를 선택적으로 구동시킴으로써 한 쌍의 구동 휠의 회전에 의한 전후진 이동 및 회전 이동을 조절하는 손잡이 조절유닛；을 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 사용자가 전후진 이동 및 회전 이동을 원활하게 조작할 수 있으며, 이로 인해 사용자의 보행을 효과적으로 보조할 수 있고, 또한 전후진 이동 및 회전 이동 시 사용자의 힘이 소요되는 것이 아니라 전력에 의한 구동력이 이용됨으로써 사용자의 편의성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
