PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information management system capable of quickly taking an appropriate course of action when detecting an infectious disease of a patient who has undergone an endoscopic examination.SOLUTION: The medical information management system includes an input means, an execution information storage means, an identification information acquiring means, an extracting means, and a scope detecting means. The input means inputs identification information on the patient and an endoscope used for the endoscopic examination. The execution information storage means stores execution information including each input identification information. The identification information acquiring means acquires the identification information on the patient detected to have the infectious disease. The extracting means extracts execution information that has the identification information, from the execution information storage means when acquiring the identification information on the patient detected to have the infectious disease. The scope detecting means detects the identification information on the endoscope included in the extracted execution information.
