A multi-functional measuring device which may determine carotid artery blood pressure, comprising: a heartbeat sensing unit (11) that is disposed on the chest so as to obtain a heartbeat signal; a pulse sensing unit (12) that is disposed on the neck in correspondence with the position of a carotid artery so as to obtain a pulse signal; and a data calculation unit (13) that communicates with the heartbeat sensing unit (11) and the pulse sensing unit (12), processing the signals from the heartbeat sensing unit (11) and from the pulse sensing unit (12), and further obtaining mean arterial pressure for the carotid artery. The measuring device may detect carotid artery blood pressure and pulse wave velocity, and further utilize the measurement results to determine carotid artery stenosis and cerebral blood flow volume, thereby rapidly screening the extent of carotid artery stenosis in groups at a high risk for cardiovascular disease.
