Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a strontium salt, vitamin D, a cyclodextrin and also one or more other inert, nontoxic, pharmaceutically acceptable excipients or carriers wherein the weight ratio between the amount of vitamin D and the amount of cyclodextrin is between 1/40 and 1/800. The pharmaceutical composition is used to treat bone diseases or arthrosis.
