The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and is intended for delivery of an intraocular lens (IOL) into the cavity of the eye using an injector in the surgical treatment of cataracts. The utility model is aimed at developing an injector design for IOL implantation, which allows the controlled introduction of an injector tip into the cavity of the eye to the optimum depth for unhindered release of the IOL and occupation by the lens of the correct position in the capsule bag. The task is achieved by the development of a projector for implanting an IOL of the following design. An injector for implanting an IOL with a body section with a tip with an acute angle of cut and a piston. At a distance of not more than 2.5 mm from the longest portion of the distal edge of the injector tip, perpendicular to the injector body, there is a limiter for introducing the tip, which is an oval plate with a thickness of not more than 1 mm, the oval length refers to the diameter of the injector tip as 1: 6, the oval width refers to the diameter of the tip of the injector as 1: 2. The plate is positioned so that its width is above the longest and shortest sections of the distal edge of the nozzle tip. The material of the insertion depth limiter is made of the same material the injector tip is made of.
