PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that though mark length measurement, both arm length measurement, arbitral tensile action and the like are used in measuring the length of a fishing line and a fishing line tackle (hereinafter called fishing line and the like) and making/repairing the same (hereinafter called measuring/making and the like), the methods cause many troubles such as entanglement and the like and give inaccurate and inefficient results, though a recently revised wave slit method is effective in measuring the length of the fishing line, the method can not be used for measuring/making and the like of the fishing line and the like, and therefore a novel measuring/making instrument capable of measuring the length of the fishing line and the like and making/repairing the same at the same time is necessary.SOLUTION: In a novel instrument of length measuring/making and the like capable of measuring the length of the fishing line and the like and making/repairing the same at the same time, two idler wheels are placed on the left and right of a measuring wheel connected to a rotary shaft of a mechanical or electric counter, and a fishing line and the like are supported by the three rotary wheels to prevent a crossing of the fishing line and the like on a circumferential surface of a length measuring wheel and to prevent a catch of accessories of the fishing line and the like during conducting length measuring/making and the like.
