PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent which is less likely to move in both directions of one side in an axial direction of the stent and the other end side thereof so as not to be displaced when placed in a body.SOLUTION: A stent 10 is composed of a metal cylinder molded into a mesh-like shape. The stent includes: a plurality of axial lines 40 continuing from one end side of a stent in the axial-direction to the other end side and extending in parallel to one another; and a plurality of struts 50 that connect adjacent axial lines 40 and 40 to each other and have crown parts 51 bent into a chevron shape. With a prescribed position of the stent in the axial-direction defined as a boundary, a direction of crown parts 51 of respective struts 50 disposed at one end side of the stent in the axial-direction from the boundary, and a direction of the crown parts 51 of respective struts 50 disposed at the other end side of the stent in the axial-direction from the boundary are configured in mutually opposite directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
