The present invention relates to an electronic device and an operating method thereof. The electronic device recognizes a plurality of electrodes with which the user body initially comes in contact as a first pair, recognizes the remaining electrodes with which the user body is in contact as a second pair and can measure current flowing between the first pair and the second pair. The electronic device measures a weight corresponding to a user and can determine body information of the user based on the measured weight and the measured current. The electronic device can output the determined body information.본 발명은 전자 장치 및 그 동작 방법에 관한 것이다. 전자 장치는 사용자의 신체가 최초 접촉된 복수의 전극을 제1 페어로 인식하고, 사용자의 신체가 접촉된 나머지 전극들을 제2 페어로 인식하고, 제1 페어 및 제2 페어 간에 흐르는 전류를 측정할 수 있다. 전자 장치는 사용자에 대응하는 하중을 측정하고, 측정된 하중 및 측정된 전류를 기초로, 사용자의 신체 정보를 판단할 수 있다. 전자 장치는 판단된 신체 정보를 츨력할 수 있다.
