PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct-sowing seed mat which can reduce spaces for seedling raising boxes and so forth and seedling-raising maintenance labors which are needed for conventional transplantation works using rice transplanters, enables the direct sowing by the use of conventional rice planters in efficient and proper conditions, can improve an establishment percent, can easily be stored for a long period, and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: This direct sowing seed mat 10 whose is partially scraped in a block-like state by the use of the rotated or turned scraping tine 16 of a rice transplanter and then pressed in and sowed in the soil of a field, comprises a sheet portion 11 comprising a resin foam, an adhesive layer 12 formed on the surface of the sheet portion 11, and seeds 13 pressed in the sheet portion 11 from the side of the adhesive layer 12.
