The invention relates to a composition comprisinga) the active agrochemical ingredient glufosinate,b) optionally one or more further active agrochemical ingredients,c) one or more N-alkylglucamides of the formula (I)whereR1 is a linear or branched alkyl group having 5 to 9 carbon atoms, andR2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms,d) one or more di- or trihydric alcohol cosolvents,e) optionally one or more nitrogen-containing salts and/or urea,f) optionally one or more surfactants,g) optionally one or more further customary formulating assistants, andh) water.The compositions of the invention are low-foaming aqueous formulations of active agrochemical ingredients which are of high activity, which are distinguished by a very advantageous toxicological and environmental profile, and which exhibit high storage stability in conjunction with uniform and high biological activity.
