PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic agents having less side effects and also having effectiveness against protozoa having resistance to existing agents.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a drug for the treatment and/or prevention of protozoa selected from at least one of baicalein, luteolin, coptisine chloride, berberine chloride, dehydrocorydaline nitrate, and palmatine chloride which are compounds derived from herbal medicines, or Scutellaria baicalensis, Vitex rotundifolia, Phellodendron amurense, and Coptis japonica which are herbal medicine extracts.
