PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular agrochemical excellent in floatability on the water surface of a paddy field and diffusiveness.SOLUTION: The granular agrochemical contains a floating assistant and thermosetting resin powder having 10-200 μm average particle size. The granular agrochemical is obtained by firmly sticking powdery agrochemicals to one another by using a thermosetting resin. A pouched agrochemical preparation is obtained by encapsulating the granular agrochemical in a bag comprising a water-soluble film. When the pouched agrochemical preparation is applied to the paddy field, the applied pouched agrochemical preparation floats and diffuses quickly on the water surface of the paddy field so that an agrochemical active component can spread satisfactorily over the whole paddy field.
