Provided herein are compositions comprising EV, e.g., exosome, encapsulated STING agonists and methods of producing the compositions described. Also provided herein are methods of modulating an immune response via administration of a therapeutic amount of EV, e.g., exosomes encapsulating STING agonists. The immune response may be an IFNβ response or activation of myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs). Also provided herein are methods of modulating an immune response that does not induce systemic inflammation via administration of exosomes encapsulating STING agonists.本文提供包含EV例如胞外體、經包封之STING促效劑的組成物以及產生所述該等組成物之方法。本文亦提供經由投與治療量之EV例如包封STING促效劑之胞外體來調節免疫反應的方法。該免疫反應可為IFNβ反應或髓樣樹突細胞(mDC)之活化。本文亦提供經由投與包封STING促效劑之胞外體調節不誘導全身性發炎之免疫反應的方法。
