An injection device comprising: a syringe having a housing with a piston located therein and an open distal end； a needle assembly that contains a cannula and a Luer tip connected to the distal end of the syringe, wherein said Luer tip contains a sleeve whose distal end supports the specified cannula, and the proximal end mates with the distal end of the syringe； a viscous fluid that has a viscosity of from about 50,000 to about 500,000 cP is located in the specified body of the syringe and is injected said piston in a peripheral portion of the human body or an animal through said cannula； an internal thread located at the distal end of the syringe and an external thread located on said sleeve providing a mating connection between the sleeve and the distal end of the syringe； said sleeve having a retaining cavity defined by an inner surface of said sleeve and containing a shoulder formed on its inner surface such so that it reduces the dead zone in the retaining cavity and thereby reduces the volume of fluid that cannot be introduced to the patient during surgery, with it prevents separation of said shoulder of said sleeve from the distal end of the syringe during the injection of viscous fluid sredy.2. The device according to claim 1, wherein said cannula has a caliber of from about 18 to about 25.3. The device according to claim 1, wherein said cannula has a caliber of approximately more than 25.4.
