To provide a process for a humus extract without toxicity to human and which can be used as a microbicide having excellent safety and stably obtained with a high rate of eradication.
SOLUTION: The process for the humus extract comprises (1) light-reacting a humic soil while keeping its moisture content at 50-80% and (2) mixing the resulting humic soil with water and a magnesium calcium acetate hydrate and fermenting and maturing it. Preferably and in process (2), a fat-free milk and a pumice are mixed with the humus.
