An ophthalmic apparatus 100 having a lamp 11d that emits light during an examination of an eye E to be inspected, and a device-side control unit 12 that acquires "image information at the time of emission of the lamp 11d" that changes according to the life of the lamp 11d. And, based on the comparison between "the image of the lamp 11d that needs to be replaced when the lamp emits light" and "the image information of the lamp 11d when the lamp emits light", the instruction of the necessity of lamp replacement, which is the diagnosis result of the lamp 11d, is output.
